Quvia Labs Contributes to National Capacity Building Under Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM)

We are honoured to contribute to India’s national capacity-building efforts under the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) as a Resource Person at the Residential Training on Enhancing Laboratory Performance, organised by SPM-NIWAS from 18 -21 November 2025.

The 4-day residential program brought together water quality experts and laboratory professionals from across the country to strengthen rural drinking water monitoring systems. The training covered a comprehensive set of technical and regulatory topics, including:

• IS 10500:2012 – Drinking Water Standards
• Sampling procedures and protocols
• Physical, chemical & micro-contaminant analysis
• Quality Control (QC) & Quality Assurance (QA)
• Calibration, traceability & measurement uncertainty
• Trace element analysis techniques
• ISO/IEC 17025 requirements & NABL accreditation processes
• IMIS/WQMIS reporting systems
• Field exposure visit to Dongariya Water Treatment Plant (WTP)

Our Contribution

Quvia Labs had the privilege to lead key sessions on Quality Control & Quality Assurance (QC/QA) in water testing—an essential component for ensuring accurate, reliable, and compliant water quality results.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to SPM-NIWAS, fellow trainers, domain experts, and all participants for their active engagement and collaboration.
This program marks another step towards strengthening India’s water testing network and achieving the mission of safe and reliable drinking water for every rural household.
